For years now I’ve been asked if I run workshops specialising in food photography. There are many people out there that think we still rub shoe polish on chicken and use mash potato for ice cream. I get comments that food must be the hardest subject to photograph.

There is great demand for food photography and therefore demand for people to learn food photography. I can teach small groups of people from all levels of photographic backgrounds, whether you’re an absolute beginner still working out apertures and shutter speeds, or the experienced professional that needs to step up the studio skills with food photography.

I have been making a full time living with photography for 20 years, including over 10 years shooting food. After photographing close to 20 cookbooks and countless advertising campaigns, I believe you will benefit from my knowledge. So far I have run food photography workshops for TAFE 3rd year students and for camera clubs.

Workshops will be run from my photographic studio in North Perth and will run in conjunction with either Perth’s best food stylist or a chef at the top of the game.
